Take attendance

Track who showed up to each session. The platform supports two methods —
mark it yourself, or let students check themselves in with a QR code.

Manual attendance

  1. Open the cohort and go to Attendance.
  2. Pick the session date.
  3. Mark each student present, absent, or late.
  4. Save. The attendance percentage updates immediately.

Manual marking is best for small cohorts or when you're reading from a roll.

QR check-in

For larger sessions, display a QR code and let students check themselves in:

  1. Start a session and show its QR code (project it or hold up your screen).
  2. Students open the app and scan the code to mark themselves present.
  3. The roster fills in live as students scan. When the session ends, anyone who

didn't scan is left unmarked — sweep those to absent (or fix individual rows)
before saving.

QR check-in saves time and removes the roll-call, while you keep final say over
the record.

Attendance percentage

Each student's attendance percentage is sessions present ÷ sessions held. Late
counts are handled per your cohort's policy. The percentage feeds
cohort analytics: a student below the cohort's minimum attendance
(75% by default, overridable per cohort) may be flagged as at-risk.

Fixing mistakes

You can edit any past session — reopen the date, change a mark, and save. The
percentage and any at-risk flags recompute from the corrected record.
