Certificates

Issue completion certificates to students who finish a cohort.

When to issue

Certificates are usually issued at the end of a cohort, once grades and
attendance are final. You decide the criteria — for example, a passing final
grade plus a minimum attendance percentage.

Issue a certificate

  1. Open the cohort and go to Certificates.
  2. Select the students who qualify (or the whole roster).
  3. Issue. Each student gets a certificate record they can view and download from

the app.

What's on a certificate

A certificate carries the student's name, the course or cohort title, the issue
date, and a unique identifier. It reflects your academy's branding (logo and
colors) — see Branding.

Verification

Each certificate has a unique id, so a certificate can be checked against your
records. Keep the cohort's gradebook export alongside the issued list as your
audit trail.

Reissuing

If a name was misspelled or a student qualified late, fix the underlying record
and issue again. The new certificate supersedes the old one.
