WhatsApp notifications

Connect WhatsApp so your students get invitations, announcements, and reminders
where they already are — no need to open the app first.

Connect WhatsApp

1. Go to Settings → WhatsApp.
2. Enter your WhatsApp Business credentials (the API key from your WhatsApp

Business provider).

1. Save. The connection status shows whether messages can be sent.

Your credentials are stored securely and are never shown back in full.

What gets sent over WhatsApp

Once connected, WhatsApp is used for:

• Student invitations when you add or import students.
• Announcements you send to a cohort (see Announcements).
• Reminders tied to sessions and deadlines.

Make sure messages arrive

• Students need a valid phone number in international format

(e.g. +9647XXXXXXXXX). A missing or malformed number is the usual reason a
message fails.

• Check the delivery breakdown on an announcement to see failures, fix the

contact detail, and resend.

If WhatsApp isn't connected

Everything still works in the student app — students just won't get the WhatsApp
push. They'll see invitations and announcements when they open the app.
