Getting started

This guide walks you through your first day running an academy on the platform.

Open your academy's admin site and sign in with the email and password your
account was created with. If you can't get in, see
Login troubleshooting.

Roles you'll see:

  • Academy admin — full control: students, courses, cohorts, settings, billing.
  • Instructor — teaches assigned cohorts: quizzes, grading, attendance,

announcements. No access to billing or academy-wide settings.

The dashboard

After signing in you land on Today, your task-led home: pending payments to
confirm, failed message deliveries, and at-risk cohorts that need attention. The
Dashboard item in the sidebar gives the academy-wide picture — active
students, revenue, top courses.

Set up your academy

A sensible first-week order:

  1. Brand it — add your logo and colors so the student app feels like yours.

See Branding.

  1. Create a course and a cohort — a course is the curriculum; a cohort is a

dated run of it with a roster of students.

  1. Add students — one at a time, or in bulk with a

CSV import.

  1. Turn on notifications — connect WhatsApp so students

get announcements and reminders.

  1. Build your first quiz and start taking attendance.

How students join

Students use the mobile app. When you enroll a student they receive an
invitation (by WhatsApp if connected) with a link to download the app and sign
in. They see only the cohorts they're enrolled in.
